Laura Flint, DPT, CLT, WCC, has been a licensed physical therapist for over 37 years. She has developed and directed physical therapy programs in nursing homes, hospitals, and in private practice settings in four different states. Flint relocated to South Carolina in 2000 and opened The Flint Center for Specialty Physical Therapy in 2004. She is an advisory board member at Horry Georgetown Technical College and has contributed to the initiation of a fully accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Flint sits on the board of the South Carolina Lymphedema Network. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Lymphedema Network, the National Association of Continence and the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy. Flint is a Doctor of Physical Therapy certified in lymphedema therapy, having completed advanced studies at the Foeldi Clinic in Hintergarten, Germany. In 2010, Flint completed her certification in wound care from the National Alliance of Wound Care.
